About Our Firm

Prior to establishing The Desper Firm, Mr. Desper worked for the Arizona Attorney General's Office, Civil Rights Division. He was an Assistant City Attorney with the City of Seattle; an Associate at Betts, Patterson and Mines; The Founding Member of McKay, Huffington and Desper, in 1992. In 1998, The Firm eventually became McKay, Huffington, Harrell and Desper and The Firm grew to 16 full-time members.

The Firm's initial practice areas included employment law, personal injury and criminal defense. The Firm's reputation for providing quality representation and service also grew, resulting in a measurable increase in client referrals from a range of industries.

The Firm's practice areas expanded to include transactional work, business, tax, and corporate services. The Firm's client base became more diverse and expanded from individuals to municipalities, small to mid-sized corporations, and non-profit organizations.  A national employment practice was established, by Oscar E. Desper III, which today, services clients from throughout the country.
